HAWAIIAN WEDDING CAKE 
CAKE:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.)
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar

NOTE: There is no shortening in the recipe.

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir thoroughly. Do not use mixer. Add the coconut and nuts and stir until mixed. Pour into 9 x 12 inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Soften cream cheese and butter and beat well with electric mixer. Add vanilla and sugar gradually. Ice cake only when well cooled.
