SPIDER WEBS | |
Simple, fun Halloween treat that children can make in a jiffy. 48 pretzel sticks 4 oz. vanilla flavored almond bark (Walmart baking section) Cover 2 cookie sheets with waxed paper. Arrange pretzel sticks into 6 groups of 8 on the waxed paper. Shape to resemble spokes of a wheel. Cut each square of candy coating in half (or quarters) so each piece is 1/2 ounce. Place in microwavable glass dish and cook on HIGH for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth, getting out all lumps. Spoon a small amount of melted candy into the middle of each group of pretzels. Spoon a thin stream of candy around in circles to form the strands of the webs. Chill "spider webs" in refrigerator for 15 minutes to harden. Submitted by: Robin Weiss |
