NECTARINE PLUM JAM "DELICIOUS" | |
1 1/2 lbs. nectarines 1 1/2 lbs. plums 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 pkg. powdered pectin 7 c. sugar Peel and pit nectarines. Pit plums. Coarsely chop both fruits. Place chopped fruit in large saucepot. Stir in lemon juice and pectin. Place over high heat and bring to a rolling boil, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and return to a rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4 head space. Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath. Adjust caps. Yield: about 8 half pints. |
