1 yellow cake mix (bake as directed)
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1 3/4 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
1 lg. tub of Cool Whip
Crushed walnuts
Cherries

After cake is baked, poke holes in cake with handle of wooden spoon. Mix pineapple and sugar together and simmer 15 minutes. Pour over top of cake. Let cool completely. Mix pudding and milk and let stand until thickened. Mix in sour cream. Spread over top of cake and top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle on nuts and cherries.
