1 tall can & 1 sm. can crushed pineapple in light syrup or in its own syrup
1 yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines Deluxe not with pudding)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 stick plus 2-3 tbsp. butter, melted

Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Pour pineapple in pan and spread evenly (do not drain). Sprinkle cake mix over this, then sprinkle with nuts. Pour melted butter over next. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Cool. Cut into squares, dot with Cool Whip.
