MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. pecans

Mix butter and sugar. Add salt, almond extract, flour and pecans. Mix well. May need to be refrigerated until easy to handle. Make 1 inch balls and flatten. Put cookies on ungreased pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Yield: approximately 5 dozen.
