1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients together. Form dough into 1 inch balls and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Shape in additional powdered sugar when cool.
