NO FROSTING CAKE 
1 pkg. butterscotch pudding and pie filling, NOT instant
2 c. milk
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
6 oz. butterscotch morsels
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Prepare pudding mix with the milk as directed on label. Stir in cake mix until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle top with morsels and chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until done. No frosting is necessary.

You can also try with chocolate pudding, chocolate cake and either chocolate chips or white chips. Chopped raisins could be added to the batter made with spice cake mix.
