CAKE MIX CINNAMON ROLLS 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 pkgs. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. warm water
5 c. flour
butter
1-2 tsp. cinnamon
Raisins (optional)

Dissolve cake mix, yeast, salt, and vanilla in the lukewarm water. Stir in flour to stiffen, adding more flour if too sticky. Let rise for an hour in a warm place. Punch down and let rise until doubled. Roll out; spread with butter. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Sprinkle over dough. Roll up and cut into one inch pieces or larger. Place on greased pan and let rise for 40 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. May be frosted with icing.
