BARBECUED MINI MEAT LOAVES 
1 pouch onion soup mix
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
Cheddar cheese, cut into thin strips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine soup mix, beef, sausage, bread crumbs, egg and 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce; mix well.

Divide meat mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape each into a small loaf and place in a large, shallow baking pan.

Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven; spoon fat from pan. Spread remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce over loaves; top with cheese strips. Bake 2 minutes more or until cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.
