RED COCOA CAKE 
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa/hot coffee

Put all the ingredients into an electric mixer bowl and beat 2 minutes. Put 1/2 cup cocoa in measuring cup and fill with hot coffee to make 1 cup. Add to mixture and beat 1 minute. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees.
