SOUR CREAM SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour

With electric mixer in large bowl, mix butter, sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and eggs. Beat until creamy.

In a small bowl, mix the sour cream and baking soda and blend well. Then add sour cream mixture to ingredients in large bowl. Add flour gradually and blend well to form soft dough. Refrigerate until cold.

Roll on floured table or board. Cut out with floured cookie cutters. Either decorate with sprinkles before baking or ice after baking. Great for all holidays. Kids love. Bake at 425 degrees until light brown on edges approximately 5 1/2 minutes.

Makes 6 to 8 dozen.
