MOLASSES CRUMB CAKE 
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Karo (dark)
1/2 c. baking molasses
1 tbsp. baking soda
2 c. boiling water

Mix flour, sugar and butter for crumbs. Save 1 cup for topping. Mix Karo, molasses, baking soda and water. Add crumbs. Pour into greased and floured pan (13 x 9 x 2 inches). Sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
