MOLASSES CRUMB CAKE 
CRUMBS:

2 cups flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter

Set aside a scant 3/4 cup of crumbs for topping.

1/2 c. dark molasses
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. baking soda

Pour into greased and floured 9 x 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
