SPANISH RICE 
3/4 c. uncooked rice (UNCLE BEN'S® converted)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 c. water
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
8 oz. can tomato sauce
Chopped onion, optional
Chopped peppers, optional

In 2 quart saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; cover, simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender, and water is absorbed; stirring occasionally. Preparation time: 8 minutes. Cooking time: 25 minutes. Makes 4 (1 cup) servings.
