APPLES 'N CREAM DESSERT 
5 c. thin sliced apples, peeled and cored (about 5 med.)
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 lg. egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Put apples in 9-inch pie plate. Combine sugar and flour; toss to mix. Cover with Saran, vented. Microwave 7-9 minutes on High. Stir once in middle of cooking time. When apples are tender, spread sour cream, egg, and vanilla mixture over, then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Cover with waxed paper and continue to microwave on Med-Hi 4 minutes, give 1/4 turn after 2 minutes. Done when topping is set at edges. Let stand, uncovered, 15-20 minutes until center is set. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
