GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. bacon
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. chopped dill pickle (optional)
2 lb. potatoes, cooked

Cook bacon to crisp and chop. Add flour, sugar, mustard, salt, vinegar, and water to bacon grease to make a gravy. Add cut-up potatoes and stir. Add bacon and pickles. Serve warm.
