MY MOM-IN-LAW'S MEATLOAF 
2 1/2-3 lb. chopped meat
Ketchup or tomato sauce
1 egg
Bread crumbs
1 grated or minced onion
Garlic
Salt & pepper
Paprika
1 can whole white potatoes

1. Mix together meat, ketchup, egg, bread crumbs, 2/3 of onion, garlic, salt and pepper (amounts by personal taste).

2. Put remaining onion and enough ketchup or tomato sauce to cover bottom of meatloaf pan.

3. Form a high loaf of meat in center of pan. Leave space around the edges.

4. Put potatoes around meat loaf.

5. Top meat and potatoes with paprika.

6. Bake about 1 hour at 375 degrees or until meat is cooked through.
