BEEF BAVARIAN 
1 1/2 lb. thin round steak
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. oil
1 lg. onion
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1 c. beef broth
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
4 carrots, sliced
4 oz. can mushrooms
Garlic powder

Pound steak until thin. Cut in 1" strips. Blend cornstarch, garlic, salt and pepper. Coat meat and brown in oil. Add onions and cook 2 or 3 minutes or longer. Stir in beer, broth, Tabasco sauce and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add carrots and cook 15 minutes or until meat is tender. Add mushrooms. Serve over noodles or rice.
