LEMON ICE BOX PIE 
1 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs, about 28 wafers
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs, separated
Juice of 3 lemons
6 tbsp. sugar

Butter a 9 inch pie plate. Line bottom and sides with crumbs. Combine condensed milk, egg yolks, and lemon juice; mix thoroughly. Pour into pie plate. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, and beat until stiff peaks are formed. Spread over lemon mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until meringue is light golden brown. Chill before serving. Serves 6-8.
