1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. chopped, pitted dates

Blend egg and sugars. Add peanut butter, mixing thoroughly. Stir in the dates. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Using a fork or a glass with a design on the bottom, press the ball down to about 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown. Let cool about 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
