SAUTEED APPLES 
2 lbs. cooking apples
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sweet wine
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter

Remove cores from apples. Two pounds to fill skillet. Combine in skillet with brown sugar and wine. Cover and cook until apples are soft. Take off cover and cook until mixture is thick.
