MAGIC MUFFINS 
1 c. boiling water
2 sticks soft butter
2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 tbsp. salt
2 c. Kelloggs All Bran cereal
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Bran cereal (100% Nabisco)

Pour boiling water over bran and let stand. Cream butter, eggs and sugar. Add milk, salt and All Bran cereal, flour and baking soda. Add Bran and water mixture. Store overnight in refrigerator until usage. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 385 degrees for 20 minutes. (Keeps in glass jar in refrigerator for 6 weeks.)
