CHICKEN TETRAZZINI 
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1/2 stick butter
1 sm. onion, chopped
6 rounded tsp. flour
2 c. milk
1/2 lb. American cheese
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
14 oz. can mushrooms (or use fresh)
3/8 tsp. garlic salt
4 c. diced chicken or ham
8 oz. thin spaghetti, cooked & drained

Saute pepper and onion in butter. Add flour to this and combine milk. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Mix remaining ingredients, except spaghetti. Layer spaghetti on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish. Pour sauce over this layer. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
