GARDEN FRESH TURKEY BURGERS | |
1 lb. ground turkey 1 c. oatmeal, uncooked 3/4 c. green pepper 1 clove garlic 1/2 c. sour cream 3/4 c. minced onions 1/4 c. catsup 4 or 5 hamburger buns Lightly spray rack of broiler pan with vegetable oil. Combine first 7 ingredients, mix well. Shape into burgers. Place on rack or prepared pan or over medium hot coals on grill. Broil 7 to 9 minutes on each side. Serve on rolls. Top with sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. 1 burger - 300 calories, 20 g. protein, 37 g. carb., 11 g. fat, 65 mg. cholesterol, 400 mg. sodium, and 3 g. dietary fiber. |
