CREAM CHEESE CUPCAKES 
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar

TOPPING:

1 can cherry pie filling

Makes 18 to 24 cupcakes.

In a bowl, cream the cheese until light. Gradually beat in 1 cup sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Spoon or pour mixture in paper cups in cupcake pan, filling 3/4 full. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

In small bowl stir together 8 ounces sour cream and 1/2 cup sugar. After cupcakes have baked 30 minutes, remove from oven and allow to settle down, approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Place 1 teaspoon of filling into center of each and return to oven for 5 minutes. Place 1 teaspoon cherry filling on each, after they've cooled. Refrigerate.
