1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. additional sugar
1 pkg. Hershey candy kisses

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and peanut butter. Gradually add the sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Mix flour, soda and salt together. Add to mixture. Shape dough into balls (a rounded teaspoon in each ball). Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven. Place 1 candy kiss on each cookie, press down firmly. Return to oven and bake 2 to 5 more minutes until golden brown.
