CREAM WAFERS 
1 c. soft butter
1/3 c. thick whip cream
2 c. sifted flour

Mix butter, cream, and flour. Chill dough. Roll 1/8 inch thick on floured board. Use 1/3 of dough. Cut with small cutter. Sugar in bowl. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Prick each cookie with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Cool.

FILLING:

1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla

Make filling and color for season. Fill 2 cookies and decorate top. Dainty.
