BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. of sirloin or round steak
1 stick of butter
1 lg. onion
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 med. size can of mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. sour cream

Cut meat in one inch cubes or bite-size pieces. (Steak will slice better if partially frozen.) Saute meat in butter until deep brown. Add onion and cook on low heat for 3 minutes. Add other ingredients (except sour cream) and simmer for 30 minutes. Add other ingredients (except sour cream) and simmer for 30 minutes. Add sour cream before serving. Serve over cooked rice or noodles. Serves 6.
