FRENCH LACE COOKIES 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar

Combine flour and pecans in a large mixing bowl, set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, and remove from heat. Cool, add to flour mixture, mixing well. Drop dough by teaspoonful 4 inches apart, onto well greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
