AUNT ROSIE'S EGGLESS RAISIN CAKE | |
In a large saucepan boil 1 cup raisins with 2 cups water for 10 minutes. Add 1/2 cup butter. Cool. In same pan, add (no sifting needed) : 1 3/4 c flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. nuts Mix. Bake in greased 10 x 10 inch pan for 35 minutes at about 350 degrees. |
