PRETZEL SALAD 
2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix and press first layer into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool.

2ND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Blend second layer (it will be stiff). Add to first layer.

3RD LAYER:

1 lg. strawberry Jello
1 c. apples
1 c. pecans (optional)

Third layer - have Jello almost congealed. Add pecans (optional) and apples to second layer.
