SEPTEMBER TOMATO AND BASIL AND
AVOCADO SALAD
 
2 med. size, wonderful, juicy, ripe, homegrown tomatoes
1 ripe avocado (homegrown if you live in California)
1/2 c. tasty olive oil
Several sprigs of basil (equally homegrown, flavorful, etc.) (about 1/4 c.), minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. minced green onion

Chop tomatoes and avocados. Combine with seasonings, onion, basil and oil. Let stand about 15 minutes. Serve, eat and enjoy!
