1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Mix dry ingredients; add to cream mixture. Add flour until dough is firm. Chill dough. Roll on floured board 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out cookies. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
