GRANNY'S HERSHEY'S BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
Dash salt
4 eggs
1 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's syrup

Mix flour, soda, sugar, salt, and butter; add eggs and Hershey's syrup, then add nuts if desired. Pour onto a 1-inch deep cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1 sq. semi-sweet chocolate

Cook the ingredients until it's boiling. Remove from heat and add 3 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix in one box of powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Spread on top of brownies.
