HAYSTACKS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch or semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 tsp. salad oil
1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles (2 c.)
2 c. miniature marshmallows

About 2 hours before serving: Line large cookie sheet with waxed paper. In double boiler top over hot, not boiling water, melt butterscotch pieces with salad oil, stirring occasionally. In large bowl, mix chow mein noodles and marshmallows; pour on butterscotch; with fork, mix well.

Onto cookie sheet, drop mixture by heaping teaspoonfuls. (If mixture thickens, place over hot water a few minutes.) Refrigerate until set. Makes about 30 pieces or 3/4 pound.
