CHUTNEY 
12 green tomatoes
12 peeled cored Granny Smith
3 peeled onions
5 c. vinegar
5 c. sugar
1 tsp. red pepper
3 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. salt

Put through processor or chop until very fine first 3 ingredients and put aside. Boil the other ingredients. Add chopped mixture and simmer for 1/2 hour. Pack in sterile jars. Seal and process 15 minutes in boiling water for pints. About 8 pints.
