ENGLISH CHUTNEY SAUCE 
1 lb. chopped apples
3/4 lb. chopped raisins
12 chopped ripe tomatoes
2 red peppers, chopped
6 sm. onions, chopped
1/4 c. mint leaves, chopped
1 oz. white mustard seed
1/4 c. salt
2 c. brown sugar
1 qt. vinegar, boiled and cooled

Chop tomatoes. Put rest through food chopper. Bring all to boiling point. Cook slowly until thick and clear. Fill sterilized jars and seal.
