TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. butter 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels 1 c. broken pecans Mix cake according to directions and add 1/3 cup milk and butter. Pour half of the batter in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Melt caramels in 1/3 cup milk and spread on top of cake, then chocolate chips then nuts. Pour the rest of the batter on top. Bake 20 more minutes. |
