SKIER'S BEEF STEW | |
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. beef, cut in 1 inch cubes 1 c. celery slices, 1 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick 1 c. carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces 4 to 6 lg. potatoes, cut into lg. pieces 1 lg. onion, sliced 3 tbsp. minute tapioca 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. pepper 1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice 2 to 3 tbsp. wine Layer meat, celery, carrots, potatoes, then onion in a casserole dish (in that order). Sprinkle tapioca, salt, pepper, and sugar on top. Pour V-8 juice over all. Cover and cook at 250 degrees for 6 hours. |
