SWEET AND SOUR LETTUCE 
1 head of lettuce, broken into bite size pieces
1/2 lb. bacon, fried or microwaved until crisp
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/3 c. water

Add flour to beaten egg and stir until smooth. Place in skillet with sugar, vinegar, water, and bacon. Heat until boiling; stir completely. Reduce heat and simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Pour over lettuce immediately before serving. Stir well.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
