AMARETTO BROWNIES 
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
4 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 beaten eggs
2 tbsp. Amaretto Liqueur
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine Crisco and chocolate in heavy saucepan. Place over low heat and stir constantly until melted. Add sugar, stirring until combined. Remove from heat and cool. Stir in eggs and Amaretto. Combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture, stirring well. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Frost with Amaretto Frosting.
