BUBBLE BREAD | |
1 c. scalded milk, cooled 1/3 c. sugar 1/3 c. butter 1 tsp. salt 3 eggs 1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water 4 c. flour or a little more Mix like bread, cover, let raise 1 1/2 hours. Punch down, rise again for 30 minutes. Roll into balls about size of walnut. 1 cube butter, melted 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 2 tbsp. cinnamon Mix sugar, nuts, and cinnamon. Put balls in butter. Then dip in cinnamon, nut and sugar mixture and put in bundt pan side by side in layers. Raise 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then 350 degrees for 30 minutes more. |
