GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE 
3 c. sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa
Pinch of salt
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 c. melted butter
2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
3 unbaked pie crusts

Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in large bowl; add eggs and blend well. Stir in milk, vanilla and butter; add coconut and pecans. Pour into crusts and bake at 350 degrees about 35 to 40 minutes. (Should thicken like pudding.) Serve with whipped cream. If wrapped tightly, it freezes well.
