Just got done putting it in the oven, but the ingredients were super easy and quick to mix up! Just waiting to see if it turns out, which I expect it will. One thing I did different was that I put cinnamon and sugar on top, so it should be delicious! Can't wait to eat it.

This is the easiest recipe for b-bread I've ever tried and I've tried a lot of them. I add chopped walnuts and cook it for about 50 minutes so it stays moist on the inside. My family loves it. It holds together really well and is a nice heavy, flavorful bread. You only need one bowl to mix it in and I never have to use my mixer. I just stir it all up by hand!

May I substitute margarine for butter?

Delicious and simple. I really disliked having to run to store to get buttermilk, cause most other recipes called for that and I NEVER use it, except for banana bread. I added about 5 oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips. YUMMM!!

I found the batter to be a bit dry, so I add 3-4 tbsp. of vanilla yogurt. I love this recipe, I usually add a mixture of chocolate and butterscotch chips to it and everybody I share it with wants the recipe! Makes great muffins/cupcakes too. Easy, and easily interchangeable with ingredients on hand!

Great simple recipe really tasty but found it to be very moist. Could have just added too little flour, next time it should be better :)

I have to admit.. I was skeptical about using this receipe, but I thought I would give it a try since it was pretty easy. It was definitely easy! It is the best, most moist banana bread I have had in a long time. I make my own butter and topped it with the butter as soon as it came out of the oven. It really turned out perfect. Simple and fast! LOVED IT!

I have to admit this is really easy, mash your bananas and throw everything else in how simple is that, the taste is what matters. I like it plain straight from the oven but my honey likes it straight from the oven but with butter or peanut butter on it. Any way you like it, it is good!

I think it tastes pretty good, if I do say so myself! I doubled the recipe and put walnuts in one bread only. The walnuts added a firmer texture yet still moist. The total cooking time was 65 minutes. I can't wait until my husband gets home, he's gonna love it.

Well, I used the really small bananas so I used about 6, and I used oil instead of butter, used baking powder and soda as I didn't have a self-rising flour. I added about a tablespoon of cinnamon, and about 5ml of vanilla essence. I mixed some of the extra batter in the bowl with cocoa and spooned it on top to make a nice design on the crust. I baked the entire thing for 45 minutes at 170°C (350°F), and it came out perfect. Got amazing reviews from my friends and was told it tastes exactly like it came from a store. The crust was perfect. Next time I will add nuts.
