STRAWBERRY DREAM PIE 
1 pie crust

FILLING:

16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. whipping cream
1 tbsp. shortening
6 c. fresh strawberries, washed and cored
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 450 degrees, bake crust for 8-12 minutes. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy, gradually add sugar and almond extract; blend well. Fold in whipped cream, spoon into cooled pie crust. Arrange strawberries pointed side up over filling. Chill until set.

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring constantly, until smooth. Drizzle over strawberries. Chill.
