BISCOCHITOS 
2 c. pure lard or butter
6 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. anise seed, crushed
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Mix dry ingredients and cut in lard.

Add: 3/4 c. orange juice

Mix eggs and orange juice into dry mixture, a little at a time. Dough will be moist. Roll out dough on lightly floured board to 1/4 inch thick. Dust with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 9 dozen small or 6 dozen large cookies.
