BEEF STROGANOV 
1 lb. sirloin or top loin, 1/2 inch thick, cut into strips
2 tbsp. butter
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 onions, sliced (I use onion powder)
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. instant beef bouillon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Cut beef in strips. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cover and simmer until tender. Remove from skillet. Cook and stir beef in 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until brown. This takes about 10 minutes. Add water, bouillon, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer until tender. Add vegetables. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Stir in sour cream and mustard. Heat just until hot. Serve over wide noodles.
