CINNAMON WHIRL 
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Basic Sweet Dough
1 1/2 tsp. water
Confectioners' icing

Stir together sugar and ground cinnamon; set aside. Prepare Basic Sweet Dough. Roll into a 7x15 inch rectangle; spread with sugar mixture. Sprinkle with water. Roll up jelly roll style, starting at the narrow end. Seal seam.

Place in a greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Cover; let rise in a warm place until nearly double, about 30 minutes. Bake in a 375 degree oven about 30 minutes or until done. Transfer from pan to a wire rack. Cool. Drizzle with Confectioners' Icing. Makes 1 loaf.

CONFECTIONERS' ICING:

1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
Light cream or milk

In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir in enough light cream or milk to make an icing of drizzling consistency.
