PECAN TASSIES | |
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 2 c. flour 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla Dash of salt 1 c. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. soft butter 1 1/3 c. pecans Soften and blend the cream cheese and cup of butter. Stir in 2 cups of flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Chill. Make into balls and put into tins and press to side and bottom. Next mix together the eggs, brown sugar, soft butter, vanilla, pecans and dash of salt. Pour this mixture into the shells. Bake at 325 degrees until set about 30 minutes. You can double the portions. |
